Responsibilities Include:
Minimum 3 years’ experience at a full-service, high end interior design firm. Candidate will be responsible for all
aspects of interior design projects including but not limited to :
  • Leading multiple projects from conception through installation.
  • Confidently making and communicating design decisions for high-end residential projects.
  • Collaborating with clients, as well as owner/principal designer, junior designer, office personnel,
contractors, and developers on multiple projects.
  • Leading excellent presentations and preparing in advance for client meetings by coordinating
documents, materials, and all aspects of the design meeting.
  •  Researching, sourcing, pricing, and creating specifications for materials from multiple vendors.
  • Maintaining project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Tracking all project tasks, status’, time billing, and issues and updating schedules or checklist
daily.
  •  Managing installations through preparation in advance, checklists, and on-site activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

o Bachelor’s degree in interior design, with 3+ years’ experience working in a design firm.
o Proficient in AutoCAD 2020 Design, and preferred experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite
o Knowledge and experience with the full design process
o Knowledge and experience in kitchen and bath design preferred
o Passion for design and an high attention for detail.
o Must be familiar with placing highly custom orders.
o Able to work under pressure in a dynamic office environment and with attention to detail.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the
design team/office staff.
o Dress is business casual.
o Office Hours- M-W 9:30-5:30
o Willing to travel, as required, for client engagements and twice a year for industry events.
