About Us:

Grace Frederick Design and its sister concept, The Atelier, are Charleston-based interior design and retail brands known for “Traditional Interiors with a Touch of Whimsy.” Our work blends classic design with an editorial, artful aesthetic- and we’re seeking a motivated marketing intern to support our growing creative team.

Position Overview:

This unpaid internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling within the interior design and luxury retail world. The Marketing Intern will assist with social media content, photography, and creative marketing projects for both Grace Frederick Design and The Atelier.

Responsibilities:

• Capture and edit photo and video content for social media, email, and website use

• Create branded graphics and layouts using Canva

• Assist with content scheduling and social media planning

• Support event promotions, seasonal campaigns, and store merchandising

• Help brainstorm and execute creative ideas for brand storytelling

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong photography (in office digital camera available) and visual storytelling skills (experience with lifestyle or product photography a plus)

• Proficient in Canva and basic photo editing tools

• Excellent attention to detail and aesthetic awareness

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to take initiative

• Passion for interior design, retail, and social media trends
